Terrorism

Before 9/11 most terrorist incidents have been bombing attacks with explosive devices, tear gas and pipe and firebombs. However, kidnapping, hijacking, arson and shooting are also terrorist methods. Although terrorists tend to target large cities, high-profile landmarks and international airports, the tragic events in New York City in 2001 demonstrate the surprise element of terrorism. Terrorism isn’t always an international incident; it also can be a bomb threat at your local high school.
