TERRORISM
Anthrax
A non-contagious, potentially fatal disease caused by breathing, eating or absorbing through cuts in the skin bacteria known as Bacillus anthracis.
Biological Attack
The deliberate release of germs or other biological substances that can make you sick.
Chemical Attack
The deliberate release of a toxic gas, liquid or solid that can poison people and the environment.
Terrorist
Someone who uses violence or the threat of violence to intimidate or coerce, often for political purposes.
Terrorism
Violence or threat of violence to intimidate or coerce, often carried out for political purposes. Acts of terrorism include: assassinations; kidnappings; hijackings; bomb scares and bombings; cyber attacks (computer-based); and the use of chemical, biological, nuclear and radiological weapons.
