What NOT to do when told to evacuate

• DO NOT evacuate unless directed to do so.
• DO NOT try to pick up children at their schools. Instead, go to the reception center to be monitored, registered, and to learn the locations of registered family members.
• DO NOT call local fire or police departments who need lines for people who need immediate help. Listen instead to your EAS radio station.
• DO NOT call 911 unless you need emergency assistance.
